What we do / Dealflow

Carve-out origination

Carve-outs show up in corporate development activity and contract cycles well before anyone runs a process. We identify the counterparties early, confirm authority and live mandate on both sides, and introduce them when the timing is right.

What we look for

Most carve-outs begin as a decision inside a larger group: a division that no longer fits the strategy, a business the group would rather not fund, or a unit a new owner doesn't want. Those decisions leave signals long before a sale process starts, in leadership changes, restructured reporting and contracts that are not renewed.

We watch for those signals and match them to buyers with a defined thesis, so the right acquirer sees the situation while it can still act on it.

Who we work with

Acquirers and funds

Buyers with capital to deploy and a thesis, who want proprietary sight of situations before they reach a process.

The business after the deal

A carved-out business needs its own finance function, often an interim CFO first, and sometimes new funding. We work all three lanes, so those needs are known before the deal closes.

How it works

Both sides are qualified before any introduction: the brief fits, authority is confirmed and the mandate is live. Fees and protection for introductions are agreed in writing before any names are shared.

We introduce counterparties. We do not advise on or arrange the sale of businesses, and each side takes its own independent advice.
